I absolutely love when the grooms contact me about booking me for their weddings! Its nice to know that I have male fans out there and that they too appreciate all that is photography related! Kurt reached out to me over a year ago and booked me pretty quickly. I didn’t know much at the time about the two of them but I knew that he loved my work and he told me that he was helping to do the planning because Anda was still in school to become a Dr. So I just thought how cool of him to take the pressure off of her so that she could focus on her studies! Total team work and shows me that he is truly committed to this relationship.
Fast Forward to the wedding day.. I had never talked to the Bride except through a few emails and last minute changes but the minute I opened the sliding glass door in the the bridal suite at the Key Largo Lighthouse Beach Venue my mouth dropped! Anda greeted me with a big hug and a huge smile and I felt like I knew her forever! What a striking beauty! She had no makeup on and was surrounded by her family and small group of friends. She was in the getting ready stages and so I introduced myself and started doing my “thang”. I am very familiar with this venue and so I always have it planned in my head (mostly) of what needs to be photographed, where to set up etc. So while the girls were laughing and having a great time I was working on the details and the candid shots I captured of my bride and her girls! Anda, you would think would be pretty serious being a new dr. and all, but between her and her sister and all her girls there was non stop sillyness going on in that room and I couldn’t help but laugh along with them. I knew this was going to be a very special wedding and I was really excited to be a part of it all.
Here are a couple of the images from that day and I am working on the full blog now but felt like going ahead and posting these for you all the view! Check back soon for the rest of their story… its a great love story and these two are in it for the long haul!
